Controlled Assessments - A summary for Parents

Yr 10 Spring Term Controlled Assessment Dates


- Design Technology 20 hr controlled assessment task.
Commences week beginning 11th January 2010. To be completed by 26th March.

- Child Development – 7 hour controlled assessment task.
Commences week beginning 22nd February. To be completed by 26th March.

-Modern Languages – 1 hour controlled assessment task.
The task will be set in week commencing 1st March, as students are permitted 2 weeks of preparation time and the assessment will be carried out during 1 lesson in the week commencing 15th March.

-Science – 6 hour controlled assessment.
This will take place during two 3-hour sessions on the mornings of Monday 22nd March and Monday 19th April.

 

The dates for the Summer term controlled assessment will be published and sent to parents via letter  towards the end of the Spring term.
