At Tytherington High School, every child matters.

We are committed to providing high quality inclusive education that meets the needs of the communities we serve. All members of our school community are highly valued and offered a range of opportunities to enjoy learning and achieve their full potential in a caring, creative and well-resourced environment.

We actively promote lifelong independent learning, teamwork and personal well-being through a wide range of learning experiences and leisure activities. Central to this commitment is the development of strong and effective partnerships with parents, professional agencies, other educational providers and the business and wider community.

Within the context of community, comprehensive education and through our status as a Specialist School, we aim to provide first class personalised learning experiences and work-related opportunities in all subject areas from 11-19 years of age.

We are a community that listens to young people and responds to their ideas and needs. Through our collaborative work with the Macclesfield and Bollington Education Improvement Partnership, we provide wide-ranging learning opportunities on a local level but also offer national and international dimensions to learning through our many artistic, cultural and scientific partnerships in the UK and beyond.
